Quality inspections according to IATF 16949 standard
Meticulous, regular quality checks are essential at sternplastic: Thanks to automated production, our incorruptible checks and our exacting quality standards, we are able to deliver the high level of quality that our customers value so highly.
Our quality checks are integrated into production and are extremely efficient: For example, we work with an industrial computer tomograph that measures components without contact – including those areas which cannot be reached by optical or tactile systems. Optionally, internal and external structures of a component can be analysed on the basis of 3D-CT scans.
The scan is followed by software-supported data evaluation. It is documented in the initial sample inspection report, which contains the parameter settings of the desired product and which is sent to the customer for approval.
